Debut of The Troy, March 2006 at The AD Show
Zia-Priven is proud to announce the debut our new
chandelier-The Troy. A Modern Interpretation of the classic
French Empire but with a substantial twist. Ping Pong
Balls. Appearing to be oversized pearls that radiate the
light beautifully, the ping pong balls bring a definitive
Moderne quality to a classic design.The debut will be at
The Architectural Digest Home Design Show, beginning March
9th at Pier 94 in NY. We were joyfully invited to design a
large scale, knock-out piece for the fabulous Customer
Lounge and The Troy is what evolved. Measuring in at 9 ft
in height and 4 1/2 ft wide, it features a beautiful high
polished Nickel band with a raised ring motif and over 5000
Ping Pong Balls.The chandelier will be auctioned off by
Charity Buzz to benefit the Direct Effect Aids Research
Support Program at The Rockefeller University, a very
worthy cause.

Zia-Priven will also have a booth at the event featuring a
smaller version of The Troy, (for those of us without 20 ft
ceilings),and our new Collection of Modern chandeliers and
sconces, a grouping 1 year in the making and one we are
extremely proud of. If you can attend only one of our shows
this year, this is the one! Open to both the trade and
general public, there will be high design, celebrities and
lots of press, including many publications and television.
